A quick cleanup and color change revitalized this French perfume box top. I cleaned it up to use in a project (and added some more intense color). I’m finally ready to check all these little parts and pieces for fit, it’s better to print a kit out now and find any flaws than discover it won’t work after I’ve made a bunch of embellishments for it! Right now this is just printing as is, no inks or extras, just the base design. I love these sweet butterfly babies and am slowly scanning the full set. These are from the book Butterfly Babies by Elizabeth Gordon. It is from 1914 and in the public domain. The author has several other charming children’s books in print, they’re well worth seeking out if you like children’s book illustrations!
